When I realized that a career in the education field was not for me, I took a leap and accepted an
insurance job with Georgia Farm Bureau in 1996 as a personal lines agent. What was supposed to be a
temporary job became a lifelong journey through the world of insurance.
Taking another leap I learned the other side of the business when I became a commercial insurance
broker in 2002. I learned the importance of being more than a person who sold insurance – I was the
professional that my small business owners relied on to make sure they had proper coverage while
spending their hard-earned money wisely.
After a few years as a commercial insurance auditor, I have found the perfect fit for me – selling
insurance in my hometown and a partnership with a friend whom I’ve known since elementary school.
Our agency is family and kid oriented - you will find a playroom in our agency. We wouldn’t have it any
other way.
A UGA alumnus and forever dawg, my son and I live in Commerce where I could walk to work if I wanted
to, a pleasure not many people have today.
